“Put the problem on hold!” The words are from a friend facing some challenges, but wanting to be positive for Christmas. Her timing is in line with the November season.
First of all, November is special since, in numerology, it holds the vibration 11. The number is powerful; it is linked with divinity and spiritual awakenings. Second, November falls in the watery sign of Scorpio (until November 21). Scorpio energy is all about transformation and reaching higher levels of consciousness. And third, this week is the most symbolic Hindu festival – Diwali, also known as the festival of lights. The 5-day event, which started yesterday, signifies peace and joy, the victory of good over evil, and honor Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity for good health, wealth, and prosperity.
For this month of November, I’m sharing this chanting meditation:
Do this to help align with your inner truth and get you ready to accept the changes as you shed the non-aligned aspects of your life.
Sit in Easy Pose with a straight spine. Interlace your fingers with the fingertips pressing into the cavities between the fingers on the back of each hand. Release your index fingers, press them together and point them straight up/ Thumbs cross each other comfortably. The hands are at heart level. Eyes are open, focused at the tip of the nose.
Chant the mantra Wahe Guru Wahe Jio. At the sound of Wha focus at the navel point; He focus at the chest; Gu – roo focus at the lips. Follow the same sequence and rhythm for Wahe Jio. The meaning of the mantra: Wah is a divine spiritual wow. He means here and now. Guru means from what is dark may light prevail. Jio means soul. Essentially, it means “Divinely wonderful, here and now in my soul, all thoughts that are dark and unconscious will shift to thoughts and vibrations of uplifting light and conscious awareness.”
After 11 minutes, inhale deeply and hold your breath as you concentrate on the sound vibrating silently at the navel, heart, and lips. Hold as long as you can, and then exhale. Inhale again. Hold your breath and give everything unaligned in your life to the Universe Exhale. Inhale, hold and feel the preciousness of life. Let it go through your exhalation. Relax.

Be the Light this November
