Today is a New Moon (at 11:27 AM, Manila time), and it is in practical, resourceful, and detail-oriented Virgo. Its energy supports learning, improving our skills and doing things with care. It can also bring out perfectionism, so the invitation is not to get everything right. It is to identify what needs attention and take one useful step.
This New Moon comes shortly after the recent eclipses. My favorite astrologer, Pam Gregory, describes it as part of a longer unfolding rather than a single event. Beginnings, emotional release and changes in how we see ourselves may continue to develop over the coming weeks.
Virgo works through the ordinary. This is a good time to change a habit, improve a system, or bring a grounding practice into the morning.
If you find yourself having repetitive negative thoughts, Pam suggests interrupting them with a powerful mental ‘delete key.’ In my Theta Healing practice, I say “cancel” three times. I use it to cancel the thought on three levels of consciousness. You can also think of it as it as canceling the thought in the present time, past and future.
For this New Moon, I am sharing a meditation for clarity and prosperity.
It will help focus your mind on the career and financial goals that can support both your practical needs and spiritual growth. The hand position works with the throat chakra, which is associated with communication, creativity and expression. Combined with the breath, the meditation invites you to listen more deeply, connect with your heart and consider how your abilities can become a meaningful and productive livelihood.

A meditation for clarity and prosperity to help you focus your intention and take one practical step forward.
Here’s how to do it: Sit with a straight spine. Raise your arms in front of your torso, with your forearms parallel to the ground at shoulder height. Bend your elbows so your fingers point toward each other in front of your throat, with your palms facing down. Press the ring fingers and pinkies beneath the thumbs. Touch the tips of the index and middle fingers of one hand to the corresponding fingertips of the opposite hand. Keep your eyes one-tenth open. Inhale for 2 seconds. Hold your breath for 5 seconds. Exhale slowly for 10 seconds. Continue for 11 minutes.
As you practice, reflect on one question: What small change can I make today that will better support the life I want to create? Remember to keep it small and simple. Choose one clear intention, take one practical step and allow it to develop over the coming weeks.
In loving service,
Rosan
