I am filled with gratitude! Thank you everyone for your prayers, food and medicine! It’s been a week since I tested positive and am still on home treatment. I feel much better, but have occasional coughs.
A useful tip in a time when we know that someone could catch covid that the peak of it is are on days 8 to 12. That’s the hit or break mark. I have an oximeter and I’ve been monitoring my oxygen saturation level every hour. And as the doctor predicted, on day 10 onwards, my oxygen saturation level would go down to the warning zone of 90 to 92. I would counter it by doing breathwork, specifically dog’s breath to raise it up to a safe level of 94 to 95.
What’s really important at this point is to boost the immune system with plenty of rest, vitamins (especially D3 and zinc), staying hydrated and following the doctor’s prescription. For those who are well, keep up with your self-care practices such as pranayama, yoga, meditation and if you can, spend time outdoors.
I am admittedly tired, but I am grateful. Leaving you with this thought to focus on our gratitude, and may it help you overcome whatever difficulties you may have:
Living your life with gratitude means choosing to focus your time and attention to what you appreciate. Appreciation softens us. It connects us to everything – great and small – that we may otherwise take for granted; Like the air we breathe to keep us alive, our current state of health that we can still walk, use our hands, smell, taste and especially our family and friends who are always here for us.
In loving service,
Rosan
