Hello from Ljubljana (pronounced lyoo-blyah-nuh)!
I’m in the capital of Slovenia and the place looks like a scene from Games of Thrones with dragons on bridges, and scenic rivers and valleys. There are over 500 castles in Slovenia, and today I’ll be going sightseeing to visit an 800-year old castle perched on a 123-meter cliff.

Stock photo to give you an idea. Beautiful, isn’t it?
I’ll be traveling to Maribor on Sunday where the training actually is, in a farmhouse in the mountain. According to the host, Mojca, the room is simple and shared between three to four people. It’s cold right now at 10-degrees and may be freezing there.
While I’m away, I’m inviting you to join a 12-day frog challenge.
I know that most of you don’t like doing Frogs. I often cite, as an example, my 70+year old private student who could barely do frogs when she started two years ago. She now does 55 frogs every day as her warm-up.
The Frog pose is one of the Kundalini yoga postures that you do when you feel stuck and can’t move forward. This is a posture of elevation. It literally activates the lower chakras and moves the energy up into the higher chakras.
According to yogic science, Frog Pose works “On opening the flow of energy in the second chakra area of the body, the pelvis and sex organs. It builds your sexual potency and balances the sexual energies. This energy is very vital energy and again the kidneys play an important role in transforming this energy into Ojas, a vital life fluid that sustains our body.” Doing Frogs as a daily practice can help you to work with themes connected to the second chakra like your self-esteem, sexuality, creativity, and fear.
If you do decide to take the challenge, I promise that we will take it slow and build strength by starting with 10 and working our way up to 108 frogs!
There will be two winners in this #livehealbloomkundaliniyogachallenge.
For those who are committed and complete the 12 days, the prize is free admission to the Build your Business Intuition Four-Week Kundalini Yoga Series which starts on June 13.
This challenge is really a test of grit, which is the secret of success. As Angela Duckworth, professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania said in her Tedx talk, “If things were easier, then maybe we wouldn’t need grit. But I think most things that are worth doing take a long time and that sustained commitment. There are no shortcuts to true excellence.”
Yogi Bhajan has said about grit, “In your limited power, you have the capacity to experience the unlimited. In your unlimited experience, you have the power to bring the infinite to the limit of your experience. What else do you want? Therefore, there is no crisis you cannot cross. But crossing the crisis is the real grit which comes from your courage which you have to develop with the light of your soul and handle with the capacity of your mind and experience with the presence of your physical body.”
As we do the challenge in the next 12 days we can put the principles of grit to work.
Let’s get hoppin’ and feel the difference.
In loving service,
Rosan
