Have you ever felt the urge to go back to school? I recently joined a one-week course at Ateneo CORD on Facilitating Adult Learning, and it’s been both challenging and energizing. Stepping back into school, even for just a week, feels like a mini reset for the mind and spirit. Our group is small—only six of us—but the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, no matter your age or experience.

The days are full, running from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with reading assignments that keep me up late. One of the most intense parts of each day is mastering a topic in just 15 minutes—studying it carefully, then presenting insights on the spot. It’s demanding, yes, but it also sharpens focus, builds confidence, and reminds me how adaptable we can be under pressure.

Am I tired? Absolutely. But it’s the kind of tired that comes with growth, satisfaction, and a sense of accomplishment. Every early morning and late night feels worth it.

If you’ve been thinking about returning to study, even for a short course, know this: it’s never too late to learn. The experience can surprise you, challenge you, and delight you—all at the same time.

In loving service,
Rosan
