One of the things I love most about teaching Kundalini Yoga is its precision, that you can work on exactly what you need. There’s truly a kriya for everything.
For instance last July, I focused on a series called Break Free from Fear, inspired by the emotional climate many of us are experiencing. With so much uncertainty in the world, it felt important to offer something grounding, stabilizing, and empowering.
As we move into August, I’m excited to announce a 6-class series centered entirely on Sat Kriya one of the most transformative, yet accessible practices in the Kundalini tradition.

6-class Sat Kriya series with Rosan Cruz starts on August 5
Sat Kriya is unique: simple in form, yet profound in impact.
Sat Kriya works at the very foundation of our being, harmonizing the energies of our lower three chakras, the subtle centers related to survival, creativity, and willpower. Technically, it gently mixes prana (our life force) and apana (our eliminating force) at the navel point to clear the path for energy to move upward. This flow often brings a sense of lightness, strength, and deep, quiet joy.
What I love most about Sat Kriya is that it meets you where you are. Whether you’re feeling emotionally heavy, navigating grief, anger, or simply seeking clarity, this kriya provides stability and peace from the inside out. It’s like finding a steady, loving anchor, no matter what storms appear outside.
I’ll never forget my own initiation into Sat Kriya during my Level One Teacher Training way back in 2014 where we practiced a full 31 minutes. It was daunting, but revealed how a single practice could move, heal, and uplift so much within.
In our upcoming series, we’ll prepare and gently progress together—class by class, building up to the full 31-minute practice.
Each class is designed to prepare your body and nervous system to handle the increased energy flow, so you can feel safe, strong, and supported throughout the journey. I’m also thrilled to offer a new 7-class series
If you’re longing to reconnect with yourself, to find steadiness while life feels chaotic, or to explore Kundalini Yoga for the first time, I warmly invite you to join us. Teaching this practice has been my passion since I first stumbled into the practice in 2013, and it continues to open doors to connection, healing, and joy—for myself and many others.
In loving service,
Rosan
