What do you want to do most in your life?
Yes, that’s a tough question to answer! But this a good year to at least explore it, as 2019 is all about joy, positive abundance, and renewal — new light and new life. There are three good dates within the first quarter to start setting your intentions: January 1, Chinese New Year on February 5, and the start of the astrological year on March 21.
In the last Scent and Sound Healing to Create New Beginnings, one of the activities was to write down intentions, goals, manifestations and to include your bucket list of what you’ve always wanted to do, wanted to create, what makes you happy, and what you want to bring into your life this year.
Do this: write down at least 25 things you want to manifest
Even those who start with a blank end up adding more to the list, I usually end up writing 100 things. The list is divided into three parts: those that can manifest quickly as possible, in one year, or long term. And remember: anything is acceptable as long as you don’t affect a person’s life or free agency. A cardinal rule in manifesting is that you can’t make people do things against their free will.
And admittedly, sometimes when you tune into the world around you, something better than what you originally intended comes along.
Sharing a little something to show what happens when things don’t go according to plan:
I used to be a hard-core technical diver. I’ve studied everything from basic open water, advanced, rescue, all the way to divemaster and got into technical diving after. Technical diving is diving in overhead environments such as caves and wrecks.
On my bucket list as a cave diver is to dive the cenotes of Tulum. A cenote is a sinkhole in the Yucatan Peninsula (Mexico) and is considered a sacred site by the Mayans. I was supposed to go with my buddies in 1999 after we completed our Global Underwater Explorer’s Cave 1 certification in Ginnie Springs, Florida. I was so excited and prepared for the course by working out, logging overhead dives, mountain climbing, spelunking (to get familiar with the cave environment) and even going back to University of the Philippines to enrol in Geology 101.
We were training hard because in Florida, unlike the Philippines, there’s no one to help carry the equipment to the sink hole or the entrance to the cave. It takes 100 steps to go down there but everyone is expected to be able to carry their own gear. And mind you, the gear is heavy — a back plate, four steel tanks (a steel tank weighs 30 pounds).

I over trained that year. I remember climbing Mount Makiling in Laguna on a Saturday and running down the mountain so that I can go back to Manila to attend a party then driving early the next day to Biak-na-Bato in Bulacan with my helmet and rubber boots to crawl inside the caves.
The Monday after, I couldn’t move my upper body. It was difficult to walk and there was so much pain. I ended up having an MRI and the diagnosis was cervical slipped disc. I was hospitalized for 2 weeks, immobilized, lying on a plywood bed with a neck traction. I told myself to heal fast so that I can join my buddies in Florida. This is when I complemented my therapy with alternative healing which started with Dr. Omar Arabia, an oncologist who turned homeopathic. He said that I was the first and only non-cancer patient that he was treating.
While in recovery I discovered other modalities such as tuina, acupuncture, reiki and meditation. I did get well in three months but my buddies said it was risky for me to go. I stayed put while they went to Florida. I was saddened by the sudden turn of events, but I met one of my soulmates that year. I guess I had to stay in Manila to meet him. The relationship ran its own course and ended, but that’s a story for another time.
But by next month, I’m finally going to dive in the Cenotes. It took longer than I planned for, but it is happening.
While I am away, I will be doing a Live Heal Bloom Kundalini Yoga Love Challenge.

Scent and Sound Healing, December 2018
I’ll be sending a meditation every day for two weeks starting February 9 so you too can vibrate in the frequency of Love. The winner gets to attend the 4-week Kundalini Yoga Prosperity Series in March for free.
In the meantime, write your intentions. Note that on Monday is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse which won’t happen again until May 26, 2021. It’s a very intense period and a perfect time for release and to clean up everything and anything you are done and complete with such as old habits, outdated programs, and ways you use your energy that is not helpful.
Make room to bloom.
In loving service,
Rosan
