The saying goes, “It’s 11:11; make a wish!” And today is a powerful day to do it.

This once-in-a-year day is said to be, cosmically, the most fertile time to plant seeds for our future. 1111 serves as a “wake-up call” or a “code for activation.” It signifies the opening up of an energy gateway and that the universe wants you to know that help is on the way. It is said that intentions and goals quickly manifest when you see the combination 1111, which may be why it has become a habit to make a wish when the time or number pops up.

In numerology, 11 is a master number.

11 represents being “at one with the universe. It is open to vast spiritual concepts and the presence of greater power. It is a channel for truth and answers to reach us and help us on our way.”

Others say 1111 is a cosmic portal, a shift in the psyche. According to Sheila Gabriel, an angel channeler, “The 1111 Gateway is a collective, high-vibrational portal opening to assist the evolution of consciousness on the earth at this time. Stepping through the gateway in a figurative sense allows you to move into your most Evolved Self, in oneness with All That Is.”

In Kundalini yoga, 11 represents the Siri Guru Granth, the “Entirety,” the “Perfection of the Being.” Yogi Bhajan said that “11 is the sound current of Infinity, and sound is one of the most powerful ways we can heal ourselves. Mantras contain a frequency of sound which is a healing force that is available to us all. When we join together with others to chant, mediate, and pray, the energy is mega-amplified beyond what can be generated on our own.”

Whatever 11/11 means to you, I strongly recommend meditating today and chant the Magic Mantra Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad for 11 minutes.

This is a powerful mantra and earned its name ‘magic’ mantra ‘because the impact happens immediately. Yogi Bhajan said “it can shift the flow of the psyche so powerfully that new opportunities seem to materialize out of nowhere. Chanting this mantra will allow you to catch a new wave of energy which will liberate you from the chains of the past.” The mantra is the only one with a warning to watch your thoughts and actions after you chant it. You will be in such a state of manifestation that your thoughts will accelerate into being.

Here’s how to do it:

Sit in a comfortable meditative posture. Lift your hands to the level of your heart, palms up, elbows relaxed by your sides. Bring the sides of your hands together forming. All four fingers are together. Open the thumbs out away from the hands. The edges of your cupped hand are about thirty degrees from the parallel plane. Make sure to keep the base of the palms to the tip of the pinkie finger connected. Eyes are closed, gazing into your hands. Chant Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad in a monotone, letting the breath find its own pace. One repetition of the mantra takes between four to five seconds.

We’re now counting down to the end of the year. Make it count! With you always as you bloom.

In loving service,
Rosan
