With the Equinox, which happens twice a year on March 21 and September 23, the Earth and Sun line up, so that day and night are equal in length. On those days, the the magnetic fields of the Earth are at their weakest, making us vulnerable to solar flare activity.
If you’ve been having trouble sleeping and feel exhausted and don’t know what’s causing it, chances are you’re experiencing the symptoms of solar flares, which are heightened during the Equinox. Solar flares are, as described by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), large eruptions of electromagnetic radiation from the Sun that can last several minutes and hours.
Solar Flares and Sunspots
The solar flares are actually created by the sunspots, the dark areas on the surface of the Sun. NOAA monitors sunspot activity. We are currently in Solar Cycle 25 since the first Solar Cycle was recorded in 1755. Scientists predict that the sunspots will peak between November 2024 and March 2026, likely in July 2025. The more sunspots, the more solar flares, and the more magnetic interference.
Because of the magnetic interference, according to Sleepopolis, the effect may desynchronize our circadian rhythm, affecting our pineal glands and increasing melatonin, which disturbs our sleep and impacts our intuition. Research has found that this can also affect our autonomic nervous system (ANS), which controls breathing, heartbeat, and digestive processes.
Some of the symptoms of solar flare acidity may range from headaches and stomach pains (solar plexus), dizziness, difficulty focusing or experiencing a foggy mind, feelings of intense hunger or thirst, extreme fatigue, insomnia, irritability, frustration, sadness, nervousness, anger, worry, fear, grief, and overwhelm, heightened awareness and enhanced intuition, flu-like symptoms, ear ringing, temporary loss of memories, forgetting things, misplacing items noticing synchronicities and consciously aware of other people’s energy fields and highly sensitive to negativity.
Sharing the 10 things to do to ease the symptoms of solar flare activity, from Alex Myles:
- Drink plenty of filtered water.
- Take saltwater baths or swim in the ocean.
- Meditate and remain aware of recurring thoughts and feelings.
- Avoid caffeine and alcohol.
- Spend time in nature.
- Consume high-vibrational foods such as fruits and vegetables.
- Remind yourself that everything in the universe is made up of energy and that conscious thought and intention can instantly alter how we think and feel.
- Breathe deeply, forgive, release, and surrender.
- Practice kindness, compassion, acceptance, and empathy.
- When possible, temporarily disconnect from technology and anything where the energy is toxic and draining.
On my end, I’ll be spending some time again in nature and temporarily disconnecting. I will be in the Himalayas for a meditation retreat and I’ll be back on April 9.
Oh wow, it’s April! How time flies! Breathe easy, and may you continue to bloom your way.
See you when I get back.
In loving service,
Rosan
