This year, I made a conscious decision to embrace a new mantra: say yes to everything. So, when a friend invited me to Mikomoto, I wholeheartedly agreed! Especially since tomorrow is my birthday! I have a penchant for trying something new and different on my special day, and diving at Mikomoto is an adventure I’ve never experienced before.
Birthdays serve as beautiful milestones to celebrate life, reflect on our journey, and set fresh aspirations.
Looking back, I feel increasingly drawn to new experiences – external and especially, within. Last year, I was in Bali for a month for Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, the first face-to-face since the pandemic. I’ve also gotten into shamanism, taking courses in healing and the nature knowledge series, which prompted me to go deeper and apply to the three-year advanced program. This journey has opened me to new possibilities and explored other realms. I find myself gravitating towards selflessness, understanding that true selflessness seeks to serve the greater good, following a natural inclination to give, love, and coexist harmoniously with others.
“Another year older, another year wiser.”
My journey has evolved from self-centeredness and selfishness to altruism and now towards a deeper sense of selflessness.
As I reflect on my journey, I realize that each year brings new opportunities for growth and understanding. Embracing the mantra of saying yes has opened doors to experiences I never imagined, and I am excited to see where this path leads me next. So here’s to another year of exploration, self-discovery, and a commitment to living fully and selflessly. May this next chapter be filled with love, laughter, and the courage to embrace whatever comes my way.
In loving service,
Rosan
