New moons in Cancer encourage you to reflect on what brings you a sense of appreciation, security, and care. The sign is often linked to the Mother archetype or maternal influences in your life. Slowing down and prioritizing self-care may be necessary.
Take time to assess your closest relationships and ask yourself these questions.
– Do you feel nurtured or depleted by any of your friendships, romantic attachments, or family members?
– Where do you best invest your time and energy to support yourself and your loved ones health and well-being?
– What can you let go of or change to be in more alignment with your current resources and available time?
A New Moon represents a new cycle and new possibilities. Use the energy to set intentions for what you want to bring into your life. As you reflect on your feelings, consider writing down your intentions to strengthen ties, improve relationships, and enjoy a fulfilling personal life.
Here’s a short meditation to do to nurture self-trust and faith in the Universe this New Moon in Cancer.
It will teach you trust in your inner wisdom and allow yourself to be guided.
Sit with your spine straight and raise your arms to the sides, bent at 90 degrees, upper arms parallel to the ground, forearms perpendicular, palms forward, and fingertips folded on to the pads at their base, thumbs pulled back, at ear level.
Lean your torso back as far as possible without falling over with your eyes nine-tenths closed. Inhale completely in 4 equal parts, mentally chanting “So So So So.”
Exhale all the breath from your lungs in 4 equal parts, mentally changting “Hung Hung Hung Hung.”
Continue the meditation for no longer than 3 minutes. To end, inhale, exhale, and bend from your lower spine to bow, with your forehead touching the ground. The mantra “So Hung” means “I am that. “
By embracing the energies of the New Moon in Cancer, you can cultivate a deeper sense of emotional security, nurture meaningful relationships and align your intentions with your inner wisdom. Trust that you are taken care of and learn to let go of worry, fear, anxiety and hassling.
In loving service,
Rosan
