Taking a moment to reflect on the impact this kundalini yoga immersion in Ubud has had on all of us. I have been incredibly privileged to serve as a Trainer in Training (TNT) in the KRI Level One Teacher Training program in Ubud, Bali over the past three weeks. This immersive experience has been truly transformative, as I have witnessed the growth and profound shifts within both the students and myself.
In my role as TNT, I had the honor to provide support and encouragement to the student teachers. It was a humbling experience to witness their journey unfold. Whether it was overcoming physical challenges, diving into the depths of personal healing, or finding their voice as future teachers, every step was met with resilience and determination. Guiding them through their doubts and witnessing their breakthroughs has been immensely rewarding.
The sense of community that we cultivated throughout the kundalini yoga immersion has been a beautiful aspect of the experience. Together, we held a safe and nurturing space where everyone felt seen, heard, and supported. We held space for vulnerability, and uplifted one another during challenging moments.
As the three-week kundalini yoga immersion comes to a close, we are filled with a mixture of emotions. As the students prepare to graduate and embark on their journeys as teachers, I am filled with gratitude. This experience has deepened my own practice, provided me with invaluable teaching insights, and allowed me to hold space for transformative shifts. This experience has reaffirmed my passion for sharing the transformative power of Kundalini Yoga with others.
Sharing the Heart Seal meditation that we’ve been doing every day in the kundalini yoga immersion.
Perhaps this meditation has played a part in softening everyone’s hearts. The meditation serves to cultivate self-love and has been a powerful practice for all of us during this immersion.
Sit in Easy Pose or in a chair. Bring your hands to the Heart Center, crossing the right hand over the left, in the center of your chest. Feel your heartbeat and keep your chest slightly lifted. Focus through the Brow Point, keeping your eyes closed. Chant the mantra, Humee Hum, Brahm Hum, which means “We are We, We are One.” To end, inhale deeply, suspend the breath, and press your hands firmly on your chest. Exhale powerfully through the mouth. Repeat this three times.
Looking forward to seeing you all when I get back!
In loving service,
Rosan
