I hope you’re doing a meditation practice to keep your mind steady and calm. There seems to be no end to the variants coming in, so we are all worried and stressed. I hope you have a meditation practice by now that helps you sit to clear the mind of worries and fears.
Last week, I focused on chanting the mantra for chaos, Ang Sang Wahe Guru 25 times. According to Dr. Ramdesh, “It creates a vibration that allows your psyche to readjust itself. When you feel like you’ve split into a thousand pieces in the chaos surrounding you, this mantra will gradually pull each part of you back into your center.”
Isn’t it great that we have these meditation tools to help us cope and stay centered when there’s chaos in the world?
Mantra is the sound current, which controls mental vibration. In Sanskrit, Man means mind, and tra means tool. The direct translation is a tool for the mind. Chanting mantras can change the chemistry of your brain and your whole vibrational being. If you can’t chant, play the mantra in the background. It will give you the same effect. It will create a vibrational impact in your space and thus, your space can affect your thoughts and emotions.
I’m sharing this meditation that we did in Scent and Sound Healing to Attract Prosperity last Sunday. It’s a chanting meditation to bring wealth, happiness and also serves as a protection from calamities. The recommendation is to do the meditation for 40 days to change your mental pattern. It has the effect of helping you think more positively, and thus, you can project a better world and attract it to you.
Here’s how to do it:
Sit with your spine straight, keep your eyes closed. Bend your elbows so that your hands are comfortably in front of you at approximately shoulder height. Chant the mantra Har, which is the creative aspect of manifestation, four times and the eight aspects of the divine once.
Har Har Har Har Gobinday (Sustainer)
Har Har Har Har Mukhanday (Liberator)
Har Har Har Har Udaray (Enlightener)
Har Har Har Har Aparay (Infinite)
Har Har Har Har Hariang (Destroyer of Evil)
Har Har Har Har Kariang (Creator)
Har Har Har Har Nirnamay (Nameless)
Har Har Har Har Akamay (Desireless)
Every time you chant Har, the tongue touches your palette . Quickly open and close your hands as well as you pull the navel in and up. Continue for 11 minutes or maximum of 31 minutes.
I’ll be teaching this meditation again on Tuesday, August 24 at 5:00 pm for the Free Mediation class. If you’re anxious or struggling with keeping a meditation routine, join us. The free meditation class is every Tuesday from 5:00 to 5:30 pm.
See you in class, and stay safe always.
In loving service,
