I’ve been using the gong for a long time and primarily as a tool for healing. I’ve facilitated gong baths for people undergoing chemotherapy, experiencing depression, and even helped someone who suffered a stroke heal quickly. I use it in my Kundalini yoga class during the deep relaxation portion.
The gong is a powerful tool for transformation. They say the mind surrenders to the sound of a gong within 3 to 90 seconds of it being played.
My teacher, the Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux describes its power as “…Space-filling. Multiple tones and clusters of overtones build as the gong is played, eventually creating a plasma of total sound, which can be directly felt kinaesthetically by the person receiving the gong healing. Natural harmonics are overtones, which normally go upwards until they dissolve into friction. This is the natural process of aging. The pure living tones of the gong delay this degenerative process of natural harmonics, bringing us more energy, youthfulness, and healing.”
Since the gong has the power to move energy blockages for healing, I’ve used the gong for space clearing to remove negative imprints and stagnant energy.
Negative imprints in your space – home or office – come from experiencing a lot of quarrels, sadness, depression, illness, violence, or separation (death or annulment). These emotions may come from the people who live or used to live there. These energy imprints don’t disappear over time. It can attract similar patterns for instance, whoever enters the space takes in whatever energy is present. Treat space clearing as spiritual hygiene to clear out the vibes of your space of unwanted negative energy.
Sharing a testimonial from L.S., who did space clearing to welcome the new year. She’s currently taking her Master’s degree program abroad:
The space clearing improved my work-from-home experience. It allowed me to manage my workload and draw my boundaries. Also, I believe it attracted good things since some of my intentions manifested months after the space clearing. The process made my place conducive to my hobbies and interests. While staying at my place, I exercised and practiced yoga regularly. It also improved my sleep.
If you want to experience change in your life and attract positivity, you may want to clear your space and let that energy flow to you.
How is your practice coming along? What blessings and changes have you seen come from it? I’d love to hear from you.
In loving service,
Rosan
