This weekend, we’ll experience a solar eclipse, followed by a lunar eclipse on October 29. The two eclipses have the potential to bring sudden changes and intense emotions into our lives. In astrology, eclipse season occurs every six months, shaking up our world and guiding us toward the right path. By activating the Lunar Nodes of Fate, an eclipse taps into our true destiny and expedites what has always been destined to happen. During this time, a solar eclipse takes place during a new moon, while a lunar eclipse occurs during a full moon. Surprisingly, eclipse season is not the best time for manifestation work.
A rare Ring of Fire solar eclipse will occur on October 15 at 1:55 am (Philippine time) at 21°07′ Libra.
This is an “annular” eclipse where there will be a ring (annulus is Latin for ring) around the Moon. The solar eclipse will be visible in North, Central, and South America. This occurrence is quite rare, with the last time being over a decade ago in the United States. This won’t happen again until 2046.
The last Libra solar eclipse was 20 years ago. The focus is on relationships, power shift in leadership, love and how you view love.
During a solar eclipse, the Moon’s shadow passes over the Earth’s surface, interrupting the flow of energy and causing temporary disruption. This eclipse temporarily obscures masculine/left-brain energy, allowing the feminine/right brain to be flooded with instinctual and intuitive energy. It’s like becoming aware that you’re dreaming, inducing a sudden feeling of hyper-awareness.
Since the Universe intervenes to make adjustments in your life during eclipse season, it’s essential to give yourself time to process the forthcoming changes, knowing that they are part of your destined journey.
Here are five helpful practices to help you navigate eclipse season with greater ease and openness to the new beginnings that await:
1. Meditate: Engage in meditation to enhance your ability to process and receive the important messages that this eclipse season brings. Meditating during an eclipse is believed to be exponentially more powerful than at ordinary times. Click here for a meditation that you can do during this period.
2. Journal: Take the time to write down your current feelings and experiences. Journaling can provide clarity and insight, revealing important details that you may not have considered before.
3. Ground: Find ways to stay grounded and centered rather than being carried away by the emotional intensity this eclipse brings. By doing so, you’ll cultivate confidence and resilience as you navigate this transformative period.
4. Cleanse your energy: Engage in energy cleansing rituals, such as smudging and space clearing, to clear away stagnant and negative energy. With the tendency to absorb negative vibrations during a solar eclipse, cleansing your energy and your space is important.
5. Release Work: Create a list of everything you’re ready to let go. Once you’ve poured it all out, fold the paper away from you and burn it in a fire-safe container. Trust that the eclipse is already working its magic, assisting you in the process of release.
I’m back from Bali now, and outside of our regular sessions, I have special sessions that can help you in this energetic time of cleansing, release, and reflection. Do contact me if that interests you.
Sending you good vibrations, wherever you are.
In loving service,
