Hello from Berlin! I’m on my way to Bradenberg for the International Gong Master Training Intermediate with Don Conreaux and Kay Karl.

From Scent and Sound Healing- Let Go Of Guilt (2018)
It’s great to be back in this country. The first time I went here was when I was 18 years old backpacking around Europe, when it was a socialist republic called DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik). The last time I was here was in 2009.
When I was as young as 18 years old, I loved exploring. I’d do something as crazy as missing a semester to backpack for 6 months by myself and sleep in my sleeping bag in train stations just to stretch what’s left of my money. I didn’t know then that I was doing something spiritual. I was following my heart and embracing the unknown. I was fearless and just knew that I’d be safe and the Universe had my back.
I was so much tempted to stay then… but if I did, I wouldn’t be the urban energy healer I am now and my life would be something else. We are always faced with possibilities and ultimately have the choice of what we want to make out of our life.
In the last three years since I’ve left corporate, I’ve chosen to deepen my understanding of whatever I’m into, and travel out to study. Unfortunately the teachers don’t find it feasible to come to the Philippines. I guess when there is a bigger clamor for them, they will come to us
This brings me to a quote of Yogi Bhajan about the role of teachers:
“A teacher has no interest in you, except to make you spiritual, self-confident, and fearless. That is the power he has and he will adopt every method to show you your weakness. If he cannot show you your weakness and your negativity, then why do you have a spiritual teacher?
A teacher is a person who tells you where you are at. You do not like that because it hurts your ego. So if you love your ego, don’t walk on the path of spirituality. Then make money, eat steak, drink beer, have a lot of fun, have orgies, do something which everybody is doing. I’ll say either be a crow and live with crows or be a swan and live with swans. Don’t be a crow and live with swans, crows can’t live with swans. It has a very weakening effect.”
It’s Yogi Bhajan’s birthday on the 26th. Do chant Ek Ong Kar for 2 1/2 hours together if you can, or join a community.
I’ll be back on August 26. As always, see you all when I get back.
In loving service,
Rosan
