If your mind feels overloaded at night, you’re not alone.
The constant input—news, conversations, daily stress—doesn’t just disappear when the day ends. It settles into the subconscious, where it continues to shape your thoughts, emotions, and how you wake up the next day. This is why learning how to clear your subconscious mind before sleep is so practical. It directly affects the quality of your rest and your state the next morning.
In Kundalini Yoga, the subconscious doesn’t filter—it records. Everything you take in leaves an imprint. Over time, this builds mental clutter: overthinking, low-level anxiety, and emotional residue that often isn’t even yours. Nighttime is one of the most effective windows to reset it, because the mind is naturally shifting inward.
This meditation uses sound vibration to help clear the subconscious before sleep and settle the system.
Sit with a straight spine and close your eyes, focusing gently at the tip of your nose. Rest your left hand on your knee with the index finger and thumb touching, and place your right hand over your heart. Inhale deeply and chant slowly, feeling the vibration through your tongue and body.
HAR HAR HAR HAR GOBINDAY
HAR HAR HAR HAR MUKUNDAY
HAR HAR HAR HAR UDAARAY
HAR HAR HAR HAR APAARAY
HAR HAR HAR HAR HARIANG
HAR HAR HAR HAR KARIANG
HAR HAR HAR HAR NIRNAMAY
HAR HAR HAR HAR AKAAMAY
Practice in 3 parts:
1. Chant for 5 to 11 minutes before bed.
2. Sleep with the mantra playing through the night. The mind becomes receptive then, letting the vibration clear lingering impressions and mental clutter.
3. The next morning, before getting out of bed, chant again.
This mantra helps break barriers from the past, transform fear into determination, invite guidance, and support prosperity, positivity, and gratitude. If more “garbage” lingers, cycle through again—each round clears a bit more. Over time, expect clearer thinking, calmer responses, renewed creativity, and sharper focus. Fear shifts to determination, and gratitude flows naturally.
If the mind still feels heavy, repeat the cycle.
Keep it simple. Even a few minutes before sleep can shift your state. What you take in and reinforce at night shapes how you rest and how you show up the next day. This is where reset happens.
In loving service,
